DC10F Subsea Dummy Connector — Overview

The DC10F is a 10-contact Female dummy connector (protective cap) for the subsea circular connector series. It mates with any unmated 10-contact circular male connector — whether bulkhead or inline — to seal and protect the contact face during storage, transit, and deployment intervals when the working connector is not connected.

Constructed from the same chloroprene rubber and gold-plated contact materials as the working connectors, the DC10F maintains a rated seal pressure and protects contacts from biofouling, corrosion, and mechanical damage. It is an essential component for any subsea deployment program where connectors remain unmated for extended periods on the seabed or during surface handling.
