Circular connectors are manufactured from high grade chloroprene rubber with different types of body material and feature a high depth rating. The connectors are available in different standard shell sizes with contacts rated at 300 to 600 V up to 5 to 10 A. For easy integration with systems and equipment, Circular connectors are available with dedicated cables, locking sleeves, pressure proof dummy connectors and other accessories.

DC25M Subsea Dummy Connector — Overview

The DC25M is a 25-contact Male dummy connector (protective cap) for the subsea circular connector series. It mates with any unmated 25-contact circular female connector — whether bulkhead or inline — to seal and protect the contact face during storage, transit, and deployment intervals when the working connector is not connected.

Constructed from the same chloroprene rubber and gold-plated contact materials as the working connectors, the DC25M maintains a rated seal pressure and protects contacts from biofouling, corrosion, and mechanical damage. It is an essential component for any subsea deployment program where connectors remain unmated for extended periods on the seabed or during surface handling.
